even when the Park is full our crowds are small.

We have the Clayton Bay Foreshore Nature Trail passing
through the Park and the Nature Boardwalk nearby
is handy for exercise, sightseeing and bird watching.

Why do we call it Wetlands?

 This rare gem of a caravan park has absolute water frontage - reeds,  rushes,  swamphens, pelicans, open water's edge for kids to paddle  or swim and boats to row and sail on  warm days - or you can just to lie in  the shade or in the water itself. Rewarding for bird watchers, sailors, environmentalists or those who just want to relax.

 The Wetlands Caravan Park is also right next to the area  where boats are  available for hire, it is very small, never overcrowded, is clean and also inexpensive - and you can bring your dog.* SAILS, the  local shop,  restaurant/take-away is just 400 meters away, along the foreshore.  The  amenities include laundry with trough and coin-operated washing machine ($2.40 per wash). A campfire site is available to all - brushwood and saw provided. Fire drums can be hired for $5 per night plus $10 for a night's load of  wood. Please note that fuel is not available at Clayton.
Milang (10 minutes drive) supplies unleaded petrol.
At Goolwa (20 minutes drive) all fuels are available.

Park tarriffs include two (2) people.
Extra persons (5 years and over) are  $5.00 per night; maximium 6 people per site.
Arrival time is 2pm.
Departure time for onsite vans is 10am.
Departure time for powered and unpowered sites 12 noon.
Add half the day tarriff for early arrival, in after 9am,
and/or late departure out before 4pm (or 6pm daylight saving time.)

Caravan & Camping

Standard powered sites are scatered over two levels.
The unpowered sites are in two strips, one from site 46 to 50 with green , mown grass and another from sites 51 to 55 on a natural flat area. All have easy access to the amenities block showers, toilets and washing machine, and to the beaches and campfire sites.
